In response to the devastating wildfires that swept through Los Angeles in January 2025, the Ashley family of companies is extending its support to the affected communities. Ashley Furniture Industries provided 250 mattresses to first responders who lost their homes, honoring their selfless service during this challenging time when they continued to protect others while experiencing personal losses.
"The courage and dedication of our first responders, who continued to protect our communities while facing personal losses, is truly heroic," expressed Todd Wanek, President and CEO, Ashley Furniture Industries. "We are incredibly grateful for their selfless service. The devastating impact of these wildfires has affected us all deeply, and we remain steadfast in our commitment to supporting these brave individuals and helping rebuild the communities we serve."
Several Ashley stores in the Los Angeles area hosted supply drives to collect essential items for those impacted and have been committed to supporting recovery efforts by providing special offers for those affected by recent wildfires. Ashley will continue to provide these resources to those impacted to help reduce the financial burden during this challenging time. This commitment to California communities is an ongoing endeavor for Ashley, as demonstrated by a donation of 200 beds to children in need across the region through their Hope to Dream program, in partnership with El Nido Family Centers. From natural disaster relief to ensuring children have a proper place to sleep, to support and strengthen the communities Ashley calls home.
Ashley expresses its deepest gratitude to all the organizations and individuals working tirelessly to provide comfort, aid and hope to those affected by the wildfires.
