Bob’s Discount Furniture, one of the fastest growing omnichannel furniture retailers in the country, announced the launch of its first ever “Little Bob Plushie” for sale.
Exemplifying the brand’s dedication to giving back and community giving, Bob’s will contribute $5 from the sale of each Little Bob plushie to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals which supports local member hospitals near each store location. The plushie will be available* chain-wide through June 30, 2025.
“Bob’s has been about supporting our customers and communities ever since Bob Kaufman himself launched the brand more than 30 years ago,” said Stephen Nesle, Chief Brand Officer. “We're so happy and proud to offer an adorable version of our iconic spokes-puppet Little Bob in support of such a worthy organization like Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.”
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals supports the health of 12 million kids each year across the U.S. and Canada. Donations go to local hospitals to fund critical life-saving treatments and healthcare services, along with innovative research, vital pediatric medical equipment, child life services that put kids’ and families’ minds at ease during difficult hospital stays, and financial assistance for families who could not otherwise afford these services.
“On behalf of everyone at CMN Hospitals, I want to express our deepest gratitude to Bob’s Discount Furniture for their incredible support,” said Staci Cross, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for CMN Hospitals.
Bob’s Discount Furniture has supported Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals for more than three years and has contributed more than $150,000 to-date to support member hospitals coast-to-coast through a variety of in-store initiatives.
Emilia is a 4-year-old who just moved to Enfield, Conn. (born in Springfield, Mass.). She is one of CMN Hospital’s 2025 Champions. Emilia was born premature and spent 143 days in the neonatal intensive care unit battling breathing difficulties, weight gain challenges, and a diagnosis of Craniosynostosis.
Even after leaving the NICU, her fight continued with oxygen support and surgeries. A diagnosis of Juvenile Arthritis added another hurdle. But through it all, Emilia’s resilience shone. The Angel Eye cameras, funded by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, allowed her family to stay connected, providing comfort and strength during long hospital stays.
Emilia continues to defy expectations, proving that even the smallest fighters can overcome immense challenges. Thanks to donations, Baystate Children’s Hospital provided Angel Eye cameras, allowing Emilia’s family to stay connected and supported during her NICU stay.
*The Little Bob plushies are not available at any Bob’s Discount Furniture in Ohio at this time. Please check back for availability.
