HOM Furniture Announces 2024 Annual Awards

HOM Furniture was pleased to recognize its 2024 Vendor of the Year and 2024 Sales Representative of the Year at the company’s annual awards banquet, Jan 18,at The Depot in Minneapolis. The 2024 awards were presented by Kyle Johansen, executive vice president for HOM Furniture. The recipients were Violino and David Mans of Craftmaster, respectively.
Every year, HOM Furniture presents these awards to an outstanding company and individual as a recognition and thanks for their valuable contributions. These awards acknowledge key partners with proven commitment to product and service excellence, as well as product category growth.
Violino was represented at HOM Furniture’s awards banquet by their President, Carlos Bosch, as well as HOM’s local sales representative, Mark Brunsvold, and others from the Violino team. The Vendor of the Year Award is given to the vendor who demonstrates the highest level of commitment to HOM Furniture and its success in the marketplace. The 2024 award recipient, Violino, has been a partner with HOM for more than 20 years, demonstrating their innovative spirit and commitment to growth throughout this long-term partnership. Founded in 1991 in Shenzhen China, Violino has been a leader in the industry, expanding their sourcing and global footprint throughout the years.
Violino boasts an exquisite leather selection sourced from around the world. Their leathers are meticulously upholstered over some of the best frames that reflects today's lifestyle consumer.
HOM Furniture utilizes Violino in the main HOM leather department as well as the Fine Furniture Gallery at HOM and the leather department at Gabberts.
“We have been partners with Violino for more than 20 years, and our shared commitment to quality and breadth of selection continues to grow- with the past few years being some of our most successful with them,” said Johansen. “Their passion to be the best and always improve has awarded them many special projects with our HOM and Gabberts buyers over the years. They are easy to work with and always bring a can-do attitude. Its partners like Violino that allow HOM to stay ahead of our competition and continue to be the leader in our marketplace.”
The Manufacturer’s Representative of the Year Award is presented to the sales representative that delivers outstanding service in all areas, including timely service, detailed training, meticulous follow-up and an overall sense of professionalism that is second to none.
The award recipient, David Mans of Craftmaster, exemplifies these qualities as well as HOM Furniture’s core values. He has experienced many years of growing success with HOM. Since 2020, David has grown his business at HOM with Craftmaster featured in HOM’s Uptown Department.
“David isn’t just the sales rep that shows up at our office and tries to sell us the next frame. He takes the time to understand our business, merchandising and needs, and he brings suggestions to our buying team in order to maximize the success of his lines and HOM’s success in the marketplace,” said Johansen.
“It’s clear why David is being honored here tonight, and, from the entire HOM Furniture family, I want to thank him for his dedication to our business not just in 2024 but the many years he has serviced our account.”
More than 500 people attended the event at the long-standing venue, The Depot, in Minneapolis. The banquet was decorated according to the theme for the year: the Nifty Fifties; and many employees chose to dress according to the festive theme or in their semi-formal attire. The evening included dinner, photo opportunities, and entertainment, including music and dancing.
