Sunset West Introduces Malibu Collection at Las Vegas Market

Sunset West is set to introduce a new line of Natural Teak Tables as well as present its entire Malibu collection – including deep seating, dining and occasional pieces – for the first time on the West Coast at the upcoming January Las Vegas Market.
Coordinating well with the company’s recently introduced Playa and Cabo Collections, the Natural Teak Tables offer a contemporary and durable option for outdoor environments. Constructed from 100% solid teak wood, the pieces feature a slatted top design and rounded exterior legs, for a modern feel. Known for its strength and natural moisture-resistant oils, teak wood offers premier durability that will gracefully age to develop a silver-grey patina.
“Our Natural Teak Tables were very well received by our customers at the fall High Pont Market,” said Aliena Klaus Squire, vice president of marketing for Sunset West. “These tables pair beautifully with our Playa and Cabo Collections, providing seamless integration with those groups as well as a variety of other outdoor settings.”
Drawing inspiration from its namesake, the Malibu Collection pushes the boundaries of luxury and comfort for the outdoors, blending durable materials with indoor inspired silhouettes to deliver a luxurious balance of style and functionality.

Expertly hand welded to deliver seamless joinery, the Malibu Collection is constructed with durable powder coated aluminum in a sleek, matte coal finish. Seating silhouettes are characterized by curved tuxedo arm styling and architectural split back frames that include a hand welded horizontal design element that doubles as a “tie-back” for weather resistant, high-resiliency foam cushions. Melding design cues from the iconic mid-century era with sleek profiles, hand craftsmanship and modern materials, Malibu offers deep seating, dining and occasional pieces that effortlessly embody a Malibu beach design aesthetic.
Sunset West’s presentation at Las Vegas Market will also include its recently introduced Cambria Collection as well as unique accent pieces such as the Dune, Travertino, and Trellis Table Series, each offering versatile and stylish options for layering outdoor spaces.
The full lineup will be on display in the Sunset West showroom located in space B-162 during the January Las Vegas Market, Jan 26 – 30.
