Ashley HomeStore Opens Sixth Store in Phuket, Thailand

On December 19, Chic Republic Public Company Limited (Chic Republic) celebrated the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of its new 7,707 sq. ft. showroom located at Chic Republic Phuket, 90, Ko Kaeo, Mueang Phuket District. Special guest, Mr. Sophon Suwannarat, Phuket Governor joined Chic Republic leadership and employees at the event.
Chic Republic owns five additional stores in the surrounding region. This is their sixth Ashley Furniture HomeStore in Thailand. The Phuket store will employ approximately four people. Ashley Furniture HomeStore, one of the world’s best-selling home furnishing brands, has more than 1,100 locations worldwide.
“We are honored to bring Ashley Furniture HomeStore to Phuket, one of Thailand’s fastest growing real estate markets,” stated, Mr. Kijja Pattamasattayasonthi, Managing Director, Chic Republic. “This new store allows us to be closer to our customers and provide a world-class experience for our guests.”
The showroom features complete lifestyle vignettes, down to the final detail of lighting, rugs and wall art. Product categories include bedroom, dining room, upholstery, leather, occasional tables, home office, youth bedroom, recliners, mattresses and accessories. Technology enhances the environment, incorporating various elements to improve the customer shopping experience.
During the ceremony, Chic Republic presented the Muslim Wittaya Phuket School with a donation to purchase necessary equipment, materials and resources as a part of their commitment to the community.
