IKEA Minneapolis Announces New Plan & Order Point

IKEA Minneapolis is excited to announce the new IKEA Roseville Plan & order point with Pick-up location. The IKEA Roseville is one of many new format stores that are part of the growth strategy for IKEA U.S.—increasing accessibility to the brand and ensuring there are more ways to meet customers where they are and how they like to shop.
It is different from the traditional large-format IKEA stores as it gives customers the opportunity to meet with the IKEA store team to plan and order home furnishing solutions that require a bit more help – such as kitchen, bathroom and closet storage systems.
"Our expansion goal is simple: to be where people are, whenever and however they want to experience IKEA," said Javier Quiñones, CEO and chief sustainability officer of IKEA U.S. "We are passionately exploring innovative store formats to elevate customer convenience, make home delivery more accessible, and create meaningful connections with our customers in the places where they live, work, and socialize."
IKEA co-workers can arrange for delivery or schedule orders to be picked up from the convenient, onsite Pick-up location for free. With the addition of an IKEA Pick-up point, customers will be able to collect their purchases when and where it is convenient for them, supporting purchases made at the Plan & order point as well as online at IKEA.com/us. Online shoppers will have the option to pick-up qualifying orders by selecting the new Roseville location as their preferred pick-up spot at checkout. The new location also features an exterior entrance and dedicated parking spots, making the experience even more seamless.
“After operating a successful pop-up store at Rosedale Center since February of this year, we’re thrilled to expand and offer a dedicated, consultative experience that better meets the needs of our customers in this new space,” said Sanjay Kumar, market manager for IKEA Minneapolis.
IKEA is dedicated to enhancing the customer experience with a variety of customer meeting points and locations that complement each other and meet people's different needs. In addition to opening new Plan & order points, IKEA U.S. has made significant investments to enhance its e-commerce experience and service offerings, including new IKEA Family benefits, lower-priced shipping and delivery, Click & collect, and TaskRabbit assembly services.
The new IKEA Roseville Plan & order point with Pick-up is located at Rosedale Center, 1595 MN-36, #905, Level 1 Plaza, Roseville, MN. Normal hours of operation will be 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. CST Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. CST on Sunday.
