Diamond Announces Greenguard Certification on All Mattresses

Diamond Mattress has announced that all its mattresses are now GREENGUARD Gold certified. This prestigious certification applies to mattresses produced at the company’s factories in California and Texas.

With this achievement, Diamond Mattress will feature the GREENGUARD Gold mark on every product it manufactures, which can also include private label opportunities. This trusted label assures retailers and consumers that they are choosing products designed to support healthier indoor environments.

GREENGUARD Gold certified products meet some of the most stringent health-based requirements for over 300 different volatile organic compounds (VOCs) known to contribute to indoor air pollution and linked to a variety of health problems, including allergies, asthma, and cardiovascular disease. The certification process includes rigorous testing to demonstrate that the products contribute to cleaner air, lower emissions, and a healthier home environment.

Diamond had earned GREENGUARD Gold certification on most of its products earlier this year and has worked diligently to expand that to include its newest technology-driven lines, the Auto Pilot smart bed, exclusive Technogel, and Gel Grid by Diamond Mattress.

“This milestone represents a vital commitment for Diamond Mattress as we pursue our broader sustainability goals,” said Shaun Pennington, CEO. “We’ve long embraced practices like using recycled fiber pads and steel, and recycling foam and fabric waste from production. This certification is another step forward in creating sustainable, health-conscious products.”

Additionally, the company has converted to using Repreve® FR, a recycled polyester with built-in flame-retardant technology. In a one-year period since Diamond Mattress started using Repreve® FR, the company has given 550,184 plastic bottles a second life and kept them out of oceans and landfills.

“We’re proud to use components that play a vital role in sustainability. This displays Diamond’s unwavering dedication to safeguard vulnerable populations and responsible manufacturing,” said Pennington.
