OASIQ Collection Crosses Line to Indoors with Designs

OASIQ, a company known for its functional furniture for the outdoors—has introduced new indoor designs. Marking OASIQ’s first foray into the category, the indoor additions are part of two of its best-selling collections of outdoor furniture: Copenhagen and Skagen.

Influenced by its successful outdoor lines and a belief that there shouldn’t be a distinct boundary between indoor and outdoor living, OASIQ worked closely with Meneghello Paolelli Associati—the firm that designed the brand’s outdoor Copenhagen collection of dining tables, coffee tables, and seating offerings and the Skagen collection of varying outdoor chairs, stools, and dining tables—to create an exquisitely crafted, and refined assortment of chairs that further blurs the lines between indoors and out.

With the introduction of these heirloom-quality indoor pieces, OASIQ is highlighting the importance of creating furniture meant to be cherished and passed down from generation to generation—reducing one's carbon footprint in the process.

OASIQ worked closely with Meneghello Paolelli AssociatI to create a refined assortment of three chairs that further blurs the lines between indoors and out. While the outdoor Scandinavian-inspired designs are made of mostly weather-resistant teak and high-performance, solution-dyed rope, the indoor chair iterations are characterized by a gorgeous walnut wood that showcases a beautiful graining that changes with the light and one, standard plush textile option, with an additional range of made-to-order options. An ideal material, walnut is a durable hardwood that exudes elegance and offers design flexibility—it easily pairs with light or dark color palettes and tends to fit in with a variety of design schemes. In addition, Copenhagen’s curved back allows the grain of the wood to inherit a wave-like appearance that enhances its appeal.

The Skagen collection of varying outdoor chairs, stools, and dining tables, now includes an elegant chair silhouette, also updated for indoors with walnut and a large collection of plush textiles to choose from. Skagen’s exquisite, handcrafted profile continues in the lines of its classic, indoor chair. Fitting into a variety of design profiles, the new indoor designs from both collections exemplify OASIQ’s commitment to providing gorgeous furniture for interconnected living. Likewise, the materials employed in each new collection’s indoor iterations, highlight the brand’s dedication to quality and its commitment to introducing pieces designed for longevity.
