Paramount Sleep Announces Partnership with Rochambeau Inn

The boutique property will feature two Paramount mattress styles in its thoughtfully curated rooms. Branded as Rochambed, the mattresses are a private label design from Paramount that uses cotton sourced from Virginia. This highlights the company’s ability to offer a unique and tailored program to high-end hospitality destinations.
The pairing is a natural one, as both companies are family-owned and operated, based in Virginia, and share a mission to support and resource locally where they can. Paramount is proud to use Virginia-sourced cotton, traceable directly from the fields of Suffolk, Virginia, thanks to a close collaboration with the Virginia Department of Agriculture and a local gin mill. Since its beginning as a local mattress factory over four generations ago, Paramount has focused on timeless craftsmanship and built the brand into a state-of-the-art manufacturer with additional alliance manufacturing facilities strategically located across the country.
“We were seeking a mattress manufacturer that operated at our high standards with natural and locally sourced products,” explained Lyle Schiavone, owner of Rochambeau Roadside Inn. “If we fail our guests in their sleep experience, we shouldn’t even be in business. A well-rested guest will be a repeat guest!”
Conveniently located at the gateway to historic Colonial Williamsburg, Schiavone was thrilled to find a supplier so close that “checked all their boxes.” After months of personally trying out several Paramount beds, he selected two brands for distinct experiences in the inn’s higher-end suites and standard rooms.
Guests will have the opportunity to purchase a mattress from Rochambeau as part of the Rochambed private label program, which will be promoted via co-branded digital and video assets supplied to the property.
“Hospitality is an important category for Paramount, and the partnership mutually supports the strategic goals of both parties while delivering a luxury sleep experience to inn guests,” said Richard Fleck, Paramount Sleep president. “Sleep is one of the top priorities of guests at a hotel. Sleep and the quality of the mattress go hand in hand.”
Paramount Sleep is uniquely qualified to provide hotel properties with exceptional beds. It is partnered with other boutique hotel properties, including Blackberry Farm, Soho House, 21C Museum, 411 York and South Fork Lodge, to name a few.
