Planned Furniture Promotions Successful "Saddle Up” Benefit

Planned Furniture Promotions (PFP) welcomed an unprecedented crowd at its ‘Saddle Up’ benefit party at High Point Market, raising $14,000 in donations for City of Hope and hurricane relief efforts. The western-themed gathering, complete with a mechanical bull, brought together the industry’s best in a powerful show of generosity.

Out of the 20 VIP industry guests invited, 12 attended the event and took a turn posing with or riding the mechanical bull, named Hope for the beneficiary of funds raised that evening. For each of those guests, PFP donated $500 to City of Hope. To honor the full invite list, PFP pledged an additional $10,000 at the close of the event, fulfilling its commitment as if all 20 VIPs had participated. In addition to supporting City of Hope, PFP plans to contribute to recovery agencies helping victims of Hurricane Helene.

“The support we saw was tremendous,” said Tom Liddell, PFP senior vice president. “This record turnout and everyone’s willingness to pitch in showcased the incredible strength of our community and the real difference we can make together.”

Several guests donated directly to City of Hope during the event. Noteworthy contributions included $2,500 from Mike Campbell of Leather Italia and generous donations from Clay Silver of Steve Silver Company, Rob and Bob O’Neill of The Monay Company, and Karen McNeill, executive director of the Hall of Fame Foundation.

PFP is deeply grateful to all donors and those who joined forces to make the event a success. Special thanks are extended to Centers of High Point, Flex2Communicate, and the attendees of this year’s event who set a new benchmark for engagement and generosity within the home furnishings industry.
