Intiaro & Kravet, Inc. Partner to Launch Arrange 3D

Home furnishings resource Kravet Inc. and 3D visualization experts Intiaro have partnered to launch Arrange 3D, the industry’s first mixed reality application that blends physical and virtual elements to revolutionize the way people interact with products.

Kravet will unveil the technology to customers during the upcoming High Point Market in collaboration with Intiaro. Using the Apple Vision Pro technology introduced just last year, Arrange 3D allows Kravet to better engage its customers and enhance the buying experience by offering high-quality visualization of customized furniture at scale in the room without being confined to the screen size of a mobile device.

“With high end luxury product like ours it is very important to understand the quality when using visualization technology. This new application is a truly immersive and photorealistic experience that is not confined by the limitations of a mobile device. It is light years beyond the capabilities of standard AR,” said Jesse Lazarus, chief technology officer for Kravet, Inc.

In addition to greater customer engagement, Kravet expects that Arrange 3D will help its sales team move beyond physical tear sheets and printed images to enable their interior designer clients to visualize the scale and quality of their furniture line, especially for products that may not be shown on the showroom floor.

“It’s your virtual endless aisle in a way that is the closest thing to putting that piece on the floor in real life,” said Lazarus.

While Arrange 3D will be used by Kravet as a sales tool, Lazarus shared that Kravet takes pride in staying ahead of the curve in terms of technology, and “early adoption of the technology is in line with our mission to push the envelope, ensuring that when the technology is matured, we are established with it.”

This industry-leading foray into mixed reality technology reinforces Kravet’s position as an innovative leader and adds to its technology projects such as Kravet Match, a computer vision-based technology that can take an image and match for color or designs from Kavet.

“Intiaro is truly one of the best when it comes to visualization technology; when [Apple Vision Pro] launched last year, they were the first one I called,” said Lazarus. “We have good synergy; we like the way they work and the quality of the results. They have become our primary supplier for visualization.”

On this industry-first collaboration, Intiaro Co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer Michal Stachowski said, “Kravet has been an ideal partner to take Intiaro’s founding principle as an AR-first company and belief in technology to the next level. Vision Pro is taking that idea to a place never before possible and providing mixed reality experiences that are simply the best possible today. We're incredibly fortunate to have partners who are the leaders of the industry and have the foresight to push the envelope and benefit from first-mover advantage.”

Kravet and Intiaro will offer demonstrations of Arrange 3D during High Point Market in its 200 Steele showroom starting Oct 25 — 27.
