Meridian Furniture Launches Tabletop Collection at HPMKT

Meridian Furniture, a fast-growing furniture brand serving retailers and designers with an ever-changing product line of affordably priced, high-style designs, is taking another step on its journey to becoming a whole home resource, with the launch of its first tabletop decorative accessories collection at the Fall High Point Market this week.

Featuring 20 fresh, sculptural, tabletop designs all rendered in genuine marble, the new collection tracks with the company’s goal of becoming a one-stop shop for high-end style at mid-market prices.

“The new collection is a natural progression for us as a brand appealing to interior designers and stagers who are seeking a complete resource for their decorating needs,” said Michael Rosilio, president of Meridian Furniture. “We know designers in particular can run themselves ragged working with multiple vendors to find the perfect finishing touches for their projects. This new collection, the first of many decorative accents to come from us, is designed to offer a solution and beautifully complements the furniture collections they already purchase from us.”

Ranging from functional marble serving trays, to decorative sculptural pieces ideal for filling shelves and creating focal points on occasional tables, all the new pieces speak to the brand’s contemporary and modern design aesthetic. Suggested retails range from $30 to $100.

“They are beautiful pieces, but they are also highly functional. You can put anything on them, and nothing is going to mar the surface because it’s crafted of genuine stone,” he added.

According to Matt Rosilio, chief executive and head of product development, the focus on an all-marble collection was driven by Meridian’s emphasis on providing discernable values.

“When it comes to product design, the decorative accessories category as a whole is rife with vendors taking shortcuts, whether that means painting wood, or using paper marble veneers that will eventually chip and peel. We refuse to take short cuts,” he said.

As with its popular marble occasional table designs, the new decorative accents are offered in multiple patterns and colors of marble, including white, cherry, black, panda, pink, burgundy, green and travertine, among others. The company maintains an in-stock position on the entire collection and the new pieces will be available for fast shipping from the company’s Trenton, NJ warehouse.
