Shifman Mattresses Reimagines Masters Collection at HPMKT

Shifman Mattresses is introducing the reimagined Masters Collection at the fall 2024 High Point Market, Oct 25-30. To celebrate the artist-inspired collection, the luxury mattress maker will host an exclusive art exhibition Oct 27-28, as well as demonstration of Shifman’s hand-tufting technique in its showroom throughout the market.
Known for its high-quality mattresses, handcrafted with a fine attention to detail, Shifman is honoring its legacy of quality with the 2024 Masters Collection. The iconic and luxurious line features eight meticulously crafted models made from the finest natural materials. Each mattress is designed with artisanal luxe cotton, breathable fibers, luxurious mohair, plush New Zealand wool, natural latex and horsehair for superior moisture-wicking and temperature regulation, ensuring a cool, comfortable sleep environment.
“This collection embodies a perfect blend of craftsmanship and innovation, delivering an indulgent, sustainable sleep experience for those who seek the ultimate in luxury,” said Bill Hammer, Shifman president.
This reimagined collection includes Cezanne, Chagall, Matisse, Da Vinci, Van Gogh, Rembrandt, Renoir, and the newest addition, Monet. All models are adjustable bed-friendly—an upgrade from previous versions—offering versatility without compromising the traditional craftsmanship. Firm natural latex edge support delivers robust, edge-to-edge stability, preventing sagging and enhancing overall durability. The eight-way hand-tied boxsprings, paired with double-offset steel coils, provide exceptional support, longevity and adaptive comfort. This construction ensures optimal pressure relief, while the steel innerspring minimizes motion transfer, offering undisturbed sleep for both individuals and couples. The retail price range in queen is $5,500-$9,500.
“Artists have to be inspired to create beautiful works of art. Our inspiration comes from building handcrafted beds that will allow our retailers to be very profitable on our program, and to deliver a mattress that consumers will fall in love with every night they climb into bed,” Hammer shared.
The exclusive art exhibition will showcase works by acclaimed local artists, courtesy of Visual Index, including a live painting by award-winning artist Les Caison III, October 27-28 from 3-5 p.m. Caison’s work will be inspired by the theme of sleep, and the finished artwork will be raffled off to event attendees with the winner announced in November. The exhibit will be open to the local community as well as market goers. Attendees will receive a special gift with a Shifman market tote.
