MLILY USA Introduces Line to Capture More Consumer Dollars

With fewer door swings for retailers this year, the goal for many is to increase the sales ticket with every opportunity, said Derek Leishman, MLILY national sales director. The company’s first complete sleep essentials collection targets that strategy with a bedding line consisting of pillows, sheets, duvets, and comforters. 

New pillows in this new line include a soft washed down alternative model, retailing for $89 in queen size, and an ethically sourced down model retailing for $199 queen. The soft washed down alternative pillow is crafted with a polyester washed cover and polyester down alternative filling. The ethically sourced down pillow is an upgraded option with a cotton cover and is DownPass certified. The pillow’s outer chambers contain 90% white duck down and 10% white duck feathers, with the inner chamber consisting of white duck feathers.

MLILY’s new sheet sets are crafted from premium fabrics. The wrinkle and stain resistant microfiber sheets are designed to provide a soft and comfortable sleep environment for uninterrupted, rejuvenating rest. They will be offered in three colors and can accommodate mattresses up to 16" tall. The recommended retail price for a queen set is $99. 

Two new duvet inserts will be offered, starting at $149 for a queen—the Eco Soft Duvet Insert, crafted with soft luxurious natural materials, and the Super Cooling Duvet Insert, designed to enhance deep sleep with its advanced cooling materials and fabrics. The ECO Soft Duvet has cotton exterior, while its filling is 80% polyester and 20% soybean fiber. The Super Cooling Duvet is an upgraded option thanks to its filling crafted from cooling materials including Sorona polyester fiber and Lyocell (Clima).

Finally, an ultra-soft microfiber down alternative comforter will be offered in classically elegant shades of gray and white. It features a polyester washed microfiber cover and an inner core of a polyester down alternative. The queen size comforter retails at $139.

“Most consumers purchase pillows within two weeks of a mattress purchase,” Leishman added. “Retailers who focus on selling complete sleep systems not only elevate their position by offering sheets, comforters, duvets and pillows that complement the mattress, but are also helping their customers achieve an enhanced sleep environment that boosts their overall well-being.”

The company plans to expand these collections throughout 2025, continuing the enhanced sleep system emphasis that also will be part of the new mattress collections launching in January 2025.
