California-based upholstery manufacturer Omnia Leather has partnered with industry-leading 3D technology provider Intiaro to elevate the brand and boost retail sales with its own 3D visualizer and configurator tool.
Omnia Leather will showcase its technology investment at the upcoming fall High Point Market with application to the company’s new special-order program launching this month. The Intiaro solution customized for Omnia allows the retail sales associate to drape any fabric or leather over any product in the line, delivering a high-quality visual experience and the ability at the point of sale to provide all the details of the personalized product directly to the customer.
Omnia’s Merchandising Manager Katherine Skinner said the visualizer and configurator will simplify and enhance the in-store experience by providing retail sales associates with a powerful tool that takes the guesswork out of the ordering process for them and their customers.
“We’re giving salespeople a closing tool to help them be more successful at retail, and the visual specification sheet gives the consumer more confidence to make their purchase,” said Skinner.
While the 3D configurator is expected to drive sales, Omnia Leather’s chief strategy officer Bruce Birnbach is focused on driving excitement among retail partners to grow the brand, and said, “In today’s world, the product is secondary to things like this technology. Intiaro is helping us deliver an experience that is different and stands out.”
Skinner said she spent years talking to 3D technology companies before partnering with Intiaro for their high-quality work, ability to respond, and professional team.
The Intiaro team will be at the upcoming High Point Market and is available by appointment for demonstration of its industry-leading visualization platform.
