Diamond Mattress is carving a niche for itself among mattress companies showing at the upcoming High Point Market this week. The California-grown, fourth-generation producer will focus on advanced technologies and premium mattress lines.
The company says the strategy and products buyers will experience in High Point address top needs and wants of both retailers and end-consumers. Retailers will see some of Diamond’s highest margin mattress lines with technologies that provide the most sought-after benefits of advanced cooling, pressure relief, and smart technology features that excite the modern consumer.
Showing for the first time in High Point, Black Diamond with Ice Flex is a nine-bed program
consisting of all foam, hybrid and Euro top models. The collection features advanced mineral technology fused into bands applied between the comfort layers of the mattress.
Tests show it continually pulls heat away from the body resulting in a temperature reduction of approximately 2° Fahrenheit, ideal for promoting sleep. Each mattress consists of a blend of several top-performing cooling materials, including graphene, charcoal and temperature-regulating fabric.
Carbon Ice 2.0 from the Dreamstage lineup is a top selling hybrid for its cooling innovation. With a refreshed CoolTouch fabric cover and modern look, it features graphite memory and high-density foam layers and Diamond’s patented zoned nested coils system.
The Technogel lineup includes four models that offer distinct soft to firm feels with conforming support and comfort through a combination of adaptive gel technology with zoned cushioning, memory foam and latex. Technogel is a medical-grade soft-solid material that adjusts and contours to the sleeper’s body, alleviating pressure and promoting proper spinal alignment for deeper sleep. It also has a high thermal capacity to help disperse body heat, coupled with an innovative tower grid design that promotes ventilation.
Auto Pilot by Diamond Mattress, its first smart bed, returns to High Point based on continued interest and demand for this award-winning sleep system that’s currently featured and performing well on Top 100 retail floors.
Diamond will also showcase its high-end Generations collection, an homage to the 91-year-old family-owned and operated manufacturing business. Aimed at affordable luxury, the new tufted hybrid model is flat-packable and features sustainable Tencel fabric, Hypersoft quilted foam, copper memory foam and foam encased pocked coils with a suggested retail price of $1,499 queen mattress only.
“We excel at driving margins in every category of products we offer, and we’re differentiating with premium models and advanced technologies because we allocate our resources to new and innovative materials and components that make a compelling value story,” said Shaun Pennington, CEO.
Diamond Mattress will be at High Point Market, Oct 26-30 at Atrium on Main in #206, sharing space with Fashion Bed Group.
