Emily Daws Textiles Opens Brick & Mortar in Johns Island, SC

Emily Daws Textiles, founded by award-winning textile artist Emily Daws, announces the opening of its first brick-and-mortar store at 505 Hayes Park Blvd, Johns Island, SC.
Scheduled to open on Sept 20, this new storefront marks a milestone for the company, providing customers with a public-facing space to explore the brand’s renowned luxurious small-batch fabrics and handcrafted home furnishings.
“Opening this store is not just a defining moment for Emily Daws Textiles, it’s a significant achievement in my journey as a designer,” said founder Emily Daws. “I wanted to create a space that embodies my vision for the company’s future, a welcoming hub where designers and homeowners can discover thoughtful elements to elevate their homes.”
The 600-square-foot store will feature various products designed by Daws, including throw pillows, lampshades, tabletop linens, made-to-order fabric by the yard, and wallcoverings. The design showroom will also showcase a collection of upholstered pieces developed in partnership with Coley Home, such as stools, ottomans, occasional chairs, dining chairs, and side tables.
Additionally, customers will find a selection of gifts, candles, and pottery, all designed or curated by Emily. Beyond retail, design consultations will be available by appointment, either in-store or on-site, to assist with window treatments, pillow collections, custom upholstery, wallcoverings, and other decor needs.
As part of her vision for the new store, Emily Daws aims to inspire and engage the local design community by hosting launch parties for new collections, organizing sample sales, and collaborating with local creatives to host small pop-ups and events.
To mark the grand opening, Emily Daws will host a special shopping event on Friday, Sept 20, from 12 - 6 PM, open to the public. Attendees will enjoy light bites, goodies, giveaways, and an exclusive first look at the new collections.
Following the grand opening, the store will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 AM to 2 PM, with additional hours available by appointment.
