de Sede Expands Outdoor Collection with New Fabric

At the start of the year, de Sede took a brave step—and headed out into the open. Following the successful launch of its outdoor collection, the manufacturing company from Klingnau in the Swiss Canton of Aargau is now offering even more individuality for patios, gardens, and yachts with four new fabrics.
The popular de Sede sculptures like the Snake or the Yoga are simply legendary. Since the start of this year, they have also been available for outdoor areas. To make this possible, the seating specialists from Klingnau developed a special, water-permeable padding that provides protection against even the worst weather and makes the furniture suitable for the high seas.
Now, de Sede is launching a new outdoor fabric line that is perfect for the collection. With the new fabrics CALITA, KISO, NADI, and ARBI, available in vibrant shades of blue and orange among other colors, it is now possible to add extraordinary accents to outdoor areas as well.
The selected designs are characterized by the craftsmanship typical of de Sede and underpin the outdoor sculptures’ powerful presence with every fiber. The wealth of designs ranges from refined jacquard to semi-plain weaves and velvety velour.
The fabrics’ special appeal comes from the intertwining of the colors, materials, and design, which creates an authentically inviting atmosphere in outdoor spaces.
