IKEA Partners with Slope Tech for Business-to-Business

IKEA U.S. announces a new collaboration with Slope Tech Inc., a leading innovator in digitizing the Business-to-Business (B2B) economy.

As part of their ongoing commitment to providing exceptional service to IKEA for Business customers, Slope has been selected as the third-party invoice-to-pay solution provider.

This partnership reflects the dedication to growth within the IKEA for Business segment, ensuring that we continue to meet and exceed the evolving needs of our business customers.

Slope will be available on IKEA.com for business applications and checkout where approved. This new payment option eliminates the manual process of traditional invoicing while giving business owners access to capital with 30-day net terms, a streamlined checkout experience, enhanced budget management and instant eligibility up to $100,000.

This will make it easier for small and medium sized business to focus on what they do best—growing their business.

“Our partnership with Slope represents a step forward in our commitment to supporting small and medium sized businesses in the communities we serve,” said Jordi Esquinas Gimenez, chief commercial officer at IKEA U.S.

“This service is a no-fee solution that's fast and accessible, making it a special part of our mission to create a better everyday life for the many people."

Announced in July 2024, J.P. Morgan Payments has made a strategic investment in Slope, to help provide clients access to a short-term financing solution that offers an extension of payment terms to such clients’ business customers, powered by Slope’s platform.

Slope joined the J.P. Morgan Payments Partner Network, which delivers end-to-end payment experiences through an ecosystem of third-party applications that can grow businesses faster.

“We are incredibly excited to extend our payments offering to the IKEA U.S. customer base and work with a forward-thinking partner like IKEA U.S. to transition the B2B economy online,” said Lawrence Lin Murata, CEO and co-founder of Slope.

Rolling out nationwide Slope's innovative financial services will be available through IKEA.com and our Customer Support Center starting late August 2024. By October, Slope will be fully integrated into all IKEA U.S. locations, ensuring that our business customers have access to these enhanced financial services wherever they shop at IKEA.
