Teak New York Opens Showroom in Greenpoint, Brooklyn

Teak New York, the destination for Scandinavian furniture, lighting and home decor, opens its flagship showroom in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Embracing and educating the community on Scandinavian concepts like “hygge,” the highly curated showroom now offers a 4,000-square-foot immersive retail space.
Well-known as the exclusive U.S. retailer of the viral TEDDY Sofa by OMHU, Teak New York is thrilled to be the only brick-and-mortar store in the United States for iconic Danish brand Montana Furniture and showcases the East Coast's largest collection of MassProductions, a contemporary Swedish design brand.
With over 75 esteemed Scandinavian brands, Teak New York’s hand-selected products and services aim to embrace the “hygge” lifestyle and modern Scandinavian aesthetics: clean lines, impeccable craftsmanship, a deep reverence for natural materials such as wood and stone, subtle Japanese influences, and an abundance of cozy elements.

Included within the flagship showroom is the just-opened, Falu House, a cozy, nature-forward Swedish cafe under the ownership of partner, Leah Flannigan. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, including Scandinavian favorites like cardamom buns and Swedish meatballs, Falu House effortlessly adds to the experience of the shopping destination.
Teak New York will host regular immersive events and activations to continue to bring the Greenpoint community together. The flagship store is located at 34 Norman Avenue and will be open seven days a week, 9 am - 8 pm Monday through Saturday and 9 am - 6 pm on Sunday.
