Coaster Fine Furniture Unveils New Bedroom Designs

Leading North American furniture distributor Coaster Fine Furniture is playing to its strength in the bedroom category at the Summer Market in Las Vegas this week (Building A-800/801), unveiling four new, four-piece super saver groups designed to drive traffic along with a series of new upholstered headboards emphasizing exclusive design.

Crystal Nguyen, vice president of merchandise and strategic product planning at Coaster, has focused on restoring the company’s decades-long dominance in the bedroom category with a return to aggressive pricing and discernable values at all levels of product, starting with the four super saver groups.

Designed to help dealers boost 2024 sales, the Ives Bedroom Collection is an Italian-inspired clean and modern bedroom set apart with a durable, UV high-gloss finish that provides a hard, smooth surface with a mirror-like sheen that is scratch resistant and is easy to clean and maintain.

With a suggested retail of $1,999 in four piece queen, this super saver group is available in a choice of gray or white and features an LED touch light halo that illuminates the headboard and dresser drawers that glide smoothly on metal ball bearings.

Other super saver bedrooms include Kaywood (suggested retail $999 in four piece queen), which Nguyen described as “a too good to be true value,” combining mid-century modern shaping with engineered 3D paper in natural tone knotty, rustic pine and a weathered brown wood tone.

Fenwick (suggested retail $1,599 in four piece queen) is another two-tone look, this one a contemporary melamine design in grey oak and almond. The bed features a bookcase headboard with a secret compartment and a platform panel system. A nine-drawer dresser, with a hidden jewelry drawer, provides ample storage with antique nickel handles and a floating base for durability and style.

Other bedroom introduction highlights include a series of upholstered headboards with exclusive Coaster designs. Among the standouts: the Tisdall Upholstered Bed is available in a choice of black or gray corduroy, and features a built-in, remote-controlled visual flame box with 16 color-changing options. An eye-catching centerpiece that exemplifies Nguyen’s Viva Las Vegas design theme, the Tisdall retails for $999 in queen.

Another showstopping Coaster exclusive will no doubt be the Sonya, a dramatic round-bed featuring built-in benches with storage on three sides (suggested retail $1,899 in queen). Upholstered in elegant ivory boucle, channeled and tufted with sparkling acrylic buttons, the headboard features USB charging ports. Matching oval nightstands are available.

Thanks to Coaster’s newly implemented “bought product” strategy, all of the new bedroom pieces on display at the Las Vegas Market are available for immediate order and shipment. Retailers are invited for a sneak peek and gala cocktail celebration in the new showroom on July 27, beginning at 4 pm, with a ribbon-cutting set for July 28 at 10:30 a.m.
