Hooker Furnishings Launches “Savion Deux” at Las Vegas

Responding to market demand for additional cover options for its best-selling Savion upholstery group, Hooker Furniture is launching “Savion Deux” at the upcoming Summer Las Vegas Market. In addition to two new cover options – a neutral-tone performance fabric and a deep brown leather – the newest version of the patented upholstery silhouette also includes features that resonate with consumers looking for high-style upholstery designs, with the added benefit of reclining functionality.
“Since its initial launch in 2018, Savion quickly made its way to the top of our upholstery offering, as demand for motion furniture that offers more stylish, stationary-inspired silhouettes continue to resonate with design-savvy consumers and the interior design channel,” said Jenni Jungers, executive vice president of merchandising for Hooker Upholstery. “Throughout the pandemic and beyond, Savion continues to be one of our most sought-after collections.”
Combining the traditional button-tufted tailoring, sleek, low profile back, and adjustable head- and footrest functionality of the original Savion design, the new model now offers more versatility in cover options as well as several design enhancements. Savion Deux features a solid outside back – concealing the incline motion mechanism – while offering a more “finished” look that creates 360-degree room appeal. In addition, a synchronized power recline function with independent action controls deliver personalized comfort.
Jungers also notes that while the Savion Deux additions are luxurious in style and design, they incorporate textiles “you can live with.”
“Featured in a performance fabric and a durable leather, Savion Deux is designed for active family environments,” she adds. “These products are luxurious, yet they were thoughtfully created for ‘everyday lives’ where high fashion marries beautifully with daily function.”
The new cover options making their debut on the Savion Deux at the Las Vegas Market include:
- West Saddlewood: A 100 percent top grain leather thoughtfully crafted to deliver a rich deep-brown hue with slightly brighter undertones. The leather’s surface features a subtle, natural grain pattern, smooth texture, and slight sheen. A protected topcoat delivers timeless beauty and durability for an active family environment.
- Aries LiveSmart by Culp: A 100 percent polyester performance fabric that delivers an elegant and smooth tabby weave, crafted from variegated neutral-tone polyester yarns. Combining performance fibers with a PFAS-free performance finish, Aries delivers durability and longevity designed for active family environments where “life happens.”
Available in power recline chair-and-a-half, sofa and sectional configurations, Savion Deux will be on display in the Hooker Furnishings Showroom at the Summer 2024 Las Vegas Market in Building A, Space 236.
