Ergomotion Adds Key Members to Executive Team

Ergomotion, a global leader in adjustable bases, strengthens its sales, marketing and operations teams with the recent promotion of two leaders and a new hire to key executive roles.

A 15-year veteran of Ergomotion, Kyle Muench has been promoted to vice president of sales operations. He will focus on domestic sales and be responsible for growth category key accounts and retail. Previously over all Ergomotion operations, his expertise includes leading the company’s supply chain growth and supporting customer acquisition.

"Kyle has been with us from the inception of the company. His intimate knowledge of the company and our customers makes him the natural fit for the role,” stated Gui Peres, COO. “As an added bonus he is an outstanding bass guitar player and can jam with the best out there, so it’s a win-win!”

Newly named director of marketing, Kyle Burns will work closely with the sales and product teams to bring innovative products to market, identifying features, price points and healthy margins that support growth for Ergomotion’s customers. He will also lead initiatives to promote consumer awareness of the health, wellness and lifestyle benefits of adjustable bases, and in turn, boost attachment rates and sales through the company’s various business segments.

Prior to joining Ergomotion in 2022, Burns served in various leadership roles in the health and wellness industry for over 20 years. Before his promotion he was business development manager in the Wellness division and was instrumental in the launch of the ErgoSportive and Dawn House lines.

"Kyle Burns’ background in the sports industry and DTC brands will add a fresh perspective to our marketing solutions to our industry partners. He is also an accomplished ultra-marathon runner and Ironman which is a testament to his drive and competitive spirit," said Peres.

Once a customer to Ergomotion, Joe Smith joins the company as senior vice president of operations. He was previously with Serta Simmons Bedding as vice president of strategic sourcing, and during his eight years there, played a pivotal role in sourcing adjustable bases, boxed mattress products and other essential commodities. Smith’s career includes 20 years in the semiconductor industry and working with robotic capital equipment and a range of companies from early-stage startups to global multibillion-dollar manufacturers that spanned three continents.

Welcoming Smith to the company, Peres said, “Joe’s diverse background and keen understanding of complex operations combined with his strategic mindset to drive efficiency will be tremendous assets for Ergomotion.”
