Atlanta Market Programming Promises Fun & Opportunity

Atlanta Market combines celebration and education across five days of programming to offer Market insights, industry fun and networking opportunities at the Summer 2024 edition, July 16 – 22 at AmericasMart Atlanta.

“Atlanta Market’s programming serves as the nexus of innovation and connection this Summer,” said Karen Olson, ANDMORE℠ executive vice president and chief marketing officer. “From educational seminars to showroom soirees, education and experiential networking unite to inspire the industry.”

Five seminars give attendees industry insights across categories as they jumpstart Summer buying.

Two keynote sessions seek to inspire with celebrities discussing design and business. In Carson Kressley Introduces Fashionable Trends in Outdoor Living, the celebrity designer, TV personality and former Queer Eye fashion expert gets Atlanta Market attendees ahead of the curve on all things outdoor on Wednesday, July 17, at 1 p.m.

Jill Zarin and Ally Shapiro, the mother-daughter founding duo of gift brand, Jill & Ally, lead Collaborations, Partnerships & Licenses to explore the importance of partnerships to create new opportunities on Thursday, July 18, at 1 p.m. Both sessions are presented in the Building 3, Floor 2 Atrium.  

Three business-driven discussions offer attendees smart skills to remain competitive in an ever-evolving retail landscape. Steph Bechard and Crystal Media lead The Top 5 Strategies for Using Social Media to Move Your Merchandise to discuss digital marketing strategy on July 17, at 2:30 p.m.

Leading Ladies: Insights from Women in Business delivers an all-female entrepreneur panel, featuring Adriana Carrig of Little Words Project and Atlanta Market ( A ) Listers, Jasmine Crockett and Jordan Jones on July 18, at 2:30 p.m.

Showhouse Panel: Sourcing Showrooms and Showhouses addresses the symbiotic relationship between showrooms, designers and vendors on July 19, at 2:30 p.m. All three seminars are offered in the Building 1, Floor 14 Seminar Space.

Celebrations Bring Summer Fun
Industry fêtes, floor parties and daily amenities round out the Market experience over four days of celebrations, bringing refreshments, light bites and community to the Summer show.  

Buyers can enjoy a morning pick-me-up with ANDMORE design services manager, Caroline Russell, at Cappuccinos with Caroline on July 17, July 18, and July 19, at 9 a.m. ANDMORE buyer services director, Logan Avidon, hosts a New Buyer Breakfast on Wed. and Thurs. at 9 a.m.

Spirited parties and live tunes throughout the AmericasMart campus enhance Market celebrations. ANDMORE’s iconic Market Kickoff Party features complimentary drinks and light bites to celebrate Summer Market and opening day of the temporaries on July 17, at 6 p.m. Daily Afternoon Beats offer live music by DJ Ree de la Vega, July 18, July 19, and July 20, at 3:30 p.m.

Outdoor Living Provides Additional Programming
Atlanta Market offers buyers additional cross-category sourcing and educational opportunities at Casual Market Atlanta, July 15-18, at AmericasMart. The concurrent buying event offers synergistic discovery with 170+ complementary casual furniture and outdoor accessories resources.

Two events, presented by International Casual Furnishings Association (ICFA), provide additional inspiration: Trends in Outdoor Living Tour + Lunch provides insights into consumer purchasing trends on July 16, at 12 p.m.; and Cocktails + Casual offers light bites and beverages in casual showrooms (Building 1, Floors 2-6) on July 18, from 3-6 p.m.
