Annual Trade Show for ASID “Travel the World” Scheduled

The New Jersey Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) will hold its annual trade show, reimagined as an exhibition and treasure hunt with the theme of “Travel the World,” on Oct 8 from 12 - 4 pm. A happy hour with dancing, “pass the gavel” and a raffle will follow until 5pm.

The venue is Bell Works in Holmdel, formerly Bell Labs, one of the last buildings of acclaimed architect Eero Saarinen’s career.  Saarinen pushed the boundaries of design with this iconic structure, which opened in 1962.  The ballroom where the event will be held features floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking a lake.

LuAnn Nigara of A Well-Designed Business® and Noel Gatts, an HGTV host and owner of beam&bloom interiors, are special guests.  The event will also include CEUs and is open to all designers, architects and design students.

"We are very excited to host Travel the World.  It's an incredible opportunity for our design community to forge new connections, glean insights and uncover innovative products in a vibrant and beautiful setting,” said Marina V. Umali, ASID, CID, and President of the ASID NJ Chapter.  “The treasure hunt and raffle inject an extra dose of excitement into the mix."
