Rockford Wholesale Introduces Major Pottery Line at HPMKT

Rockford Wholesale, a one-stop, to-the-trade resource for retailers and designers encompassing a portfolio of brands with a passion for product design, high value, and affordability, is introducing its first major pottery line at the 2024 Spring High Point Market this week.

With more than 100 pieces, the inspired and high-quality artisan collection handcrafted in Indonesia features both classic and contemporary designs and signals the company’s intent to become a leading whole home source as strong in accessories and home décor as it already is in upholstery and case goods.

“Our priorities this year were to broaden our range of products and venture into new and diverse product categories like pottery,” said Christoper Rankin, executive vice president of product development and sourcing at Rockford Wholesale. “With a distinct vision and aesthetic in mind, we set out to curate a collection that seamlessly integrates with our existing family of brands to effortlessly complete any space. We think retailers and designers alike will be excited about what we have to offer.”

Featuring a broad range of terracotta and concrete fiber designs in varying sizes, many of the pots are dramatically oversized, with some as tall as 59-inches. “We were looking for a wow factor with the larger statement pieces which are particularly appropriate for grand entrances,” he said, “as well as homes and showrooms with high ceilings.”

Design-focused finishes range from aged bronze to rustic white, black matte, and putty, in classic shapes like the Tall Emeila Vase, the Kozani Wavy Planter, the Elisa Urn, the Arta Wavy Planter and the Alimos Bottle Neck Vase. Retail prices for the pottery pieces range from $177 to $2,997 for larger sculptures and represent the company’s Atelier Home, Beyond Borders and Jes & Gray brands.

“The pottery suits the direction that we’re taking our product line, reflecting the clean, transitional style we’re known for, but also working well with our new contemporary looks. These pieces add yet another layer to the product line for a curated, layered look.”

“Our vision has always been to combine multiple brands and categories under one umbrella that retailers and designers can buy and have shipped together from a single source. Our goal is to make it easy for them to curate their showrooms and projects with precisely the products they want and eliminate the need for excessive inventory to meet minimum purchasing requirements,” Rankin said.

Carefully crafted with retail and design partners in mind, brands in the Rockford Wholesale portfolio currently include Atelier Home, Beyond Borders Furniture Co., Southern Sky Home, Padma’s Plantation, Jes & Gray, Rockford Trading Company, Old South and Bed Tech.

Considered a must-see by leading retailers and designers attending the High Point Market each Spring and Fall, the company’s 21,000-square-foot High Point showroom is located at 156 South Main Street. For more information, visit.rockfordwholesale.com.
