Meridian Furniture Announces Industry Veteran as VP of Sales

Meridian Furniture, a fast-growing furniture brand serving retailers and designers with a vast, ever-changing product line of reasonably priced, high-style designs sourced globally, announced that industry veteran Mitch Hodges will join the company as vice president of sales.

Hodges is well regarded in the home furnishings industry for his work at Bassett Mirror, where he was most recently national vice president of sales. In that role, he worked with Top 100 retailers, built, and optimized a national sales team and significantly increased sales during a seven-year tenure with the company.

In 2023, Hodges was recognized by a leading home furnishing trade publication as part of its “40 Under 40” accolade.

“As our business continues to grow, we wanted to add an experience sales leader to our team to help build out our national footprint and increase our penetration with leading national retailers,” said Michael Rosilio, president of Meridian Furniture.

“Meridian has built a tremendous business with on-trend design and style that I believe has so much potential. They have a strong team, excellent product development cycle and strong logistics—all the elements that will lead to greater success,” said Hodges.

Before entering the home furnishings industry, Hodges was vice president of sales and operations for a leading mobile telephone company.

He is a graduate of Patrick Henry College in Martinsville, Virginia, and lives in Collinsville, Virginia with his family.
