ASID Emerging Design Professionals Week Programs Open to All

This event provides 4 days of free programming open to all members of ASID, design practitioners and design students.

The event will kick-off on Feb. 21 at 4pm with the Opening Night event at Samuelson Furniture in Paterson, NJ where attendees can learn the latest in hospitality design and smart furniture. On Feb. 22 from 6-8:30pm, there will be a virtual program on the NCIDQ exam and the path to becoming a CID.

On Feb. 23 from 12:30 – 2:30m, a lunch and learn Showroom Crawl session on window treatments and a presentation by Ren Miller, editor-in-chief of Design NJ will take place at Window Treat in Red Bank, NJ; and from 2:45 – 3:45pm there will be a tour and information session for CEU credit at Sherwin Williams in Shrewsbury, NJ.

The event ends on Feb. 24 with two programs, the first from 10:30 – 11:45am, a virtual event on best practices for success in the early phases of your interior design journey and finally from 12 – 1:15pm, a virtual program on student mental health and maintaining work/life balance.

The programs are open to ALL and are not designed solely for students, and all of the programs are FREE. Registration is required, and you can find all of the events HERE.
