Wayfair’s Celebrate Black Makers Initiative Reaches One Year Milestone

This Black History Month, Wayfair is proud to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Supplier Diversity at Wayfair – a program that was designed in partnership with suppliers to expand the breadth of opportunities available to suppliers, including those from traditionally underrepresented groups.

Check out these spotlight stories on just a few of those partners, including Mitchell BlackIndigo RoadSukie’s Candle Co., and Karen Jai Home, to learn about them and how the program has made an impact on their businesses.

Over the past year, there has been an opportunity to showcase partners and their stories through the Celebrate Black Makers initiative, which represents Wayfair’s commitment to recognize, uplift and celebrate Black-owned businesses and their products by making it easier for customers to find them.

Wayfair customers can shop curated selections through a dedicated landing page, by selecting the “Black-Owned or Designed” search filter, or by viewing an identifiable badge featured on applicable product description pages.

Wayfair is looking forward to continuing to grow this program and continue to add new partners along with it. Learn more about Celebrate Black Makers and shop Wayfair’s Black-owned suppliers.
