Kingsdown Brings Revamped Collections to Las Vegas Market

Kingsdown is heading to the Winter Las Vegas Market this week with significant new additions to its well-received K2 by Kingsdown™ all foam product line, and substantial revamps to its best-selling luxury Vintage CoutureTM and Insignia hybrid collections.

Known for a unique cooling story and the tagline “The Koolest Mattress in the World™,” K2 marked Kingsdown’s expansion into the all-foam category when it launched last summer.

Among the new additions this Market are hybrid models and models that feature a patterned honeycomb gel exclusive to Kingsdown, that according to Chairman Mike James “creates a feel unlike anything else in our product line.” The new models are set to range from $2,199 to $2,499 in hybrid and $3,399 to $3,799 in gel.

Also on tap in Vegas are major refreshes of the luxe Vintage Couture and Insignia collections. “As popular as both of these collections are, we believe we have to keep running hard, evolving and perfecting our craft,” James said.

“We’re competing in a marketplace where everyone is chasing the high-end dollar, and we have to be the best company out there making a bed between $2,000 and $10,000 based on the look and feel. So, we brought in Dave Brummett, formerly of Mattress Firm, to consult with us on specifications and builds from the retail perspective.”

This collaboration resulted in the change of foams and coil gauges to make the company’s higher-end beds look and feel even more luxurious, without changing price points or the fashion-forward aesthetic for which the lines are known.

Featuring both tight top and Euro-top models, the 2024 Vintage collection remains hand-tufted and continues to encompass natural materials like Alpaca and Joma wool, pure cotton, and Tri-Tech gel memory foams infused with copper, silver, graphite, and gel to dissipate heat and maintain freshness.

The beds also retain their individually wrapped, tri-zoned coil systems with enhanced strength coils in the lumbar sections and motion separation foam that runs the length of the bed to mitigate partner disturbance. Some models also have micro coils. Retails range from $2,199 to $5,299.

Featuring new performance fabrics with cooling features, Insignia, the luxury hybrid collection, has also been revamped, yet continues to feature secure stitch scroll quilting that secures layers and resists body impressions.

Encompassing gel foams, Tri-Tech gel memory foam, and individually wrapped tri-zoned coil systems with enhanced strength coils in the lumbar section, the motion base compatible beds retail for $1,199 to $1,799.
