Science in Design Congratulates First Graduates of Certification Program

Science in Design’s Certification Program has its first class of graduates, according to a post on LinkedIn by Science in Design Founder, Mike Peterson.

According to Peterson’s post, the Chesterfield Shoppe in Toronto registered 12 of their designers for the Certification Program and six are now graduates. He quotes the feedback as “validating and game changing for interior design.”

The Chesterfield Shoppe now has the advantage of being the first retail design firm in Canada to be “accredited with the health improvement knowledge (that) beauty and design offer. It’s unique to them and now is a competitive advantage in their marketplace,” according to Peterson.

The Inaugural Science in Design Symposium took place this past October, offering evidence-based education from leaders in science and design. Prior to the Symposium, Peterson shared that the speakers and Faculty Members “represent the top minds in the world and hail from world-renowned design firms and prestigious institutions.”
