New Year’s Resolutions Aren’t Just for Exercise and Money

According to Forbes Magazine, a poll by YouGov indicated that 37% of Americans say they have a goal or resolution that they wanted to achieve in 2023. About 87% said they were “very or somewhat likely to keep it throughout the year.”

Forbes Health reported that fitness, finances and mental health topped the list of top Resolutions for 2024 with losing weight and improving diet right behind.

There was not one item on the 14 item list of top resolutions that listed anything to do with being greener, more sustainable or more aware of our environmental footprint. Is that a surprise? Maybe, maybe not.

However, this past January, the Independent ran an article concerning “How to have a stylishly sustainable home in 2023.” Almost 12 months later, with more and more designers and manufacturers creating for sustainability, one can only imagine what 2024 will bring in the industry when it comes to design for the environment.

Listed in a West Coast newspaper as the 2024 Home Design Trends: Style, Sustainability and Sensibility.

It’s not a “trend” when it’s a responsible decision, eco-friendly, one that will decrease your environmental footprint. Not to mention one that will look absolutely fabulous and something you can be proud of (and maybe even brag about).
