Simpli Home Releases 2024 Vision and Creative Direction

Simpli Home, an e-commerce and furniture provider, released its creative direction and vision for 2024. Drawing on internal research and market trends, the company moves into 2024 committed to its vision to offer high-quality, stylish and affordable furniture to consumers with an array of new products.

“We’re expecting to release about 300-400 new SKUs this year that we’re really excited about,” expressed Simpli Home CEO Yoram Weinreich. “While maintaining our emphasis on mid-century design, we're introducing several trend-forward pieces that resonate with current market preferences. Our commitment to excellence extends to the expansion of existing lines, particularly in dining sets, sofas, and sectionals, all crafted to our exacting high-quality standards, ensuring the utmost value for consumers."

Below are the trends Weinreich and Simpli Home’s Director of Product Development, Pauline Ring, identified for 2024, as well as a first look at the new products that will roll out throughout the year tied to these trends.

Sustainability Reigns Supreme – The upward trajectory of eco-friendly textiles observed over the past few years reaches new heights in 2024. The demand for eco-friendly materials and sustainable practices is surging, with a heightened emphasis on designs that prioritize durability and longevity.

Simpli Home, with its longstanding commitment to sustainability, is at the forefront of this movement. The company consistently uses sustainably sourced wood and has established milestones to gauge and mitigate its environmental impact.

The Company achieved plastic neutrality in 2021 through its partnership with CleanHub and is actively progressing toward attaining a plastic-positive environment rating by 2025. Moreover, it uses eco-friendly fabrics to upholster its sofas and sectionals crafted from 56% recycled polyester – a fabric derived from post-consumer plastic waste, such as used plastic bottles.

Biomorphic Design – In line with sustainability, this year will spotlight organic and natural aesthetics. The drive for a connection with nature will fuel demand for indoor plants, textures inspired by the outdoors and earthy color palettes.

Simpli Home’s forthcoming collection of cast aluminum coffee and side tables will seamlessly integrate with this trend. Available in luxurious golds, bronzes and graphites, these tables will feature organic shapes that will make a bold statement in any room.

Multifunctional Pieces – In response to the evolving needs of consumers, living spaces have transformed into multi-purpose areas over the past few years. They now function as offices, gyms, social hubs, and more. Recognizing the importance of furniture that adapts to these diverse needs, Simpli Home will be broadening its range of sofas and sectionals.

The expansion includes modular models that will be available in a variety of KIND leather from JBS Leathers and recycled fabrics. Additionally, Simpli Home will be introducing new storage ottomans and coffee tables designed to contribute to maintaining clean and organized spaces, regardless of square footage.

The Revival of the Dining Room – While dining rooms appeared to lose prominence in recent years, they are making a comeback in 2024. However, consumers now prioritize individuality over matching sets, and they desire the freedom to customize their dining spaces to reflect their unique personalities.

Simpli Home is poised to embrace this trend with its planned extension dining room pieces, offered in oak and walnut. The collection will allow customers to purchase chairs and tables separately, granting them the flexibility to create personalized configurations.

Moreover, Simpli Home will offer thoughtfully curated configurations for those in search of convenient and stylish dining room solutions. Additionally, they’ll offer a selection of new 2-, 3- and 4-door side buffets to complete and enhance any dining space.
