HPMA Sets Date for Debut of Sculpture at 98 Asian Bistro

The inaugural High Point Market Community Impact Award sculpture will make its debut on Dec 8 at 12 pm at 98 Asian Bistro, 1800 N. Main Street in High Point. The High Point Market Authority  team and local sculpture artist, Justin Stabb, as well as the staff from 98 Asian Bistro will be on hand for the special event.

“We are very proud to acknowledge Tu and Todd Sen and their staff as the first recipients of our Community Impact Award,” stated Tammy Nagem, president/CEO of High Point Market Authority.

“They make not only their local guests but also the global visitors of the semi-annual High Point Market feel welcomed and special. Plus, they are outstanding ambassadors for the best our community offers. For many Market attendees a delicious dinner at 98 Asian Bistro is one of their top priorities while they are in town every April and October.”

The High Point Market Community Impact Award was created by the High Point Market Authority to recognize the local businesses or individuals that are exemplary community and market partners consistently contributing to the success of both the city and the twice-yearly Market.

The Market Authority, along with the local community, have given High Point an international presence and made it the global mecca of home furnishings.

As recipient of the High Point Market Community Impact Award, 98 Asian Bistro will receive a 5-ft.-tall stainless steel custom-designed HPMKT signature sculpture to proudly display at their business.

The award was distinctively imagined and fabricated by local High Point artist, Justin Stabb, owner of Stabb Designs. Stabb worked with the Market Authority to develop a piece that represents the creative spirit of High Point with the interconnected nature of the city and the world’s most significant home furnishings and decor market that calls High Point Home.

“98 Asian Bistro is just the first of many partners that we plan to recognize with this goodwill award,” Nagem continued. “We hope that restaurant patrons will share selfies of themselves with the sculpture on social media to help spread the news about this well deserving award that 98 Asian Bistro received.”
