Harte’s Home Opens in Worcester After Local Retailer Closes

Heidi Richardson is proud to announce the opening of Harte’s Home, a home furnishings store on Route 20. After the closing of the well-known Rotmans store in Worcester last year, Richardson and a team of former Rotmans employees are working together to ensure area consumers will continue to have a local retailer for the products, brands and services they have loved for decades.
“We are so proud to be at this stage!” stated Heidi Richardson, President. “We were heartbroken when we were told about the decision to close Rotmans. We weren’t ready to say goodbye to our customers, to our work or to each other.”
Many of the employees who are working to get Harte’s Home opened have decades of experience working together to meet consumer needs in the home furnishings categories. They have leveraged that expertise and their decades-long relationships with some of the best-known brands in the industry. “Not many new stores can say they have hundreds of years’ experience serving the market, but we can!” she adds.
“The manufacturers were excited to hear from us when we reached out to discuss the opening of Harte’s Home” said Marv Carron, Senior Merchandiser. “They have been our trusted partners for years and are glad to have the opportunity to work with us to continue to serve this market.”
Harte’s Home will bring a broad selection of product in Living Room, Dining Room, and Bedroom furniture as well as the area’s best selection of Mattresses. “We will continue to work with the brands our customers know and trust like Beautyrest, Sealy, La-Z-Boy, Canadel, and many more!”
The in-store customer experience will be easier and more convenient, but the overall dedication to quality and service will remain the same. “As a team, we have all been very customer focused throughout our careers and that principle will continue here at Harte’s Home” stated Barbara Kane, Sales Manager.
Harte’s Home will have a soft opening in December 2023 with plans for a grand opening later in the month. Everyone is invited to stop in and check out the area’s newest furniture and mattress store.
