Legends of Home Put Furniture on Display at Phoenix Fashion Week

The worlds of fashion and furniture design collide in a stunning display of creativity at Phoenix Fashion Week, where a unique and captivating art exhibit from Pinnacle Award finalist Legends Home took center stage.

This innovative collaboration redefined the boundaries of style and design, offering attendees an unforgettable sensory experience. On Oct 20 – 21 at the Chateau Luxe Event Venue in Phoenix, Fashion Week strived to push the envelope of what’s possible in the world of fashion.

Brian Hill, executive director of Phoenix Fashion Week stated, “The fusion of fashion and furniture within our Legends Home LIVE art installation added a completely new dimension to the runway shows, enhancing the visual and tactile experience for our fashion forward guests.”

Over seven feet wide and nearly nine feet tall, the monochromatic white installation was created on site

after carefully rendering its entirety in 3D. It featured a collection of furniture pieces mounted in an

artistic display that encouraged visitors to participate.

Designers, models, creators, and fashionistas surrounded the exhibit for hours on end, making their mark with a colorful selection of paint pens. A spotlight lit the display from the stage while Top 40 models posed in their couture collections to solidify the idea that furniture is fashion.

Attendees enjoyed the opportunity to witness the harmonious coexistence of the fashion and furniture worlds, blurring the lines between them to create a one-of-a-kind immersive experience.

“Right after I got announced as a finalist in the Phoenix Fashion Week Top 40 Models competition, I

went to find my family. We were all so excited! My dad then showed me the installation and photo

booth created by Legends Home,” said Kennedy Pulliam, Phoenix Fashion Week Top 40 model finalist 2023.

“We signed the installation at the same place but on opposite sides and it solidified what I had just accomplished and also allowed me to share it with my family.”

In addition to the Legends Home art exhibit over 1,600 attendees witnessed a breathtaking fashion

show featuring the latest designs from top-tier fashion brands and emerging talents. Celebrity guests

highlighted the experience, including global runway model Quannah Chasinghorse, gold medal swimmer

Breeja Larson, and NBC Anchor Krystle Henderson.

Phoenix Fashion Week continues to be a celebration of innovation and artistry in the fashion world, and this year’s collaboration with Legends Home broadened the horizon of what we call fashion.

“Attending and winning the Designer of the Year at Phoenix Fashion Week was an unforgettable experience. The joy of being recognized for our work was only amplified by the fun we had at the

Legends Home photo booth. It was a night of fashion, celebration, and memorable snapshots!” said Tony

James, founder and designer at Throne of Grace Clothing, Phoenix Fashion Week 2023 Designer of the Year.
