Simpli Home Announces Continued Expansion into Trend-Right Sofas

Simpli Home, D2C furniture brand that recently announced its entry into the brick-and-mortar channel, continues to expand well beyond its solid wood roots into nearly every room in the home, with its latest move into trend-right sofas.

The brand is offering 12 affordable sofa designs, all reflecting the modern aesthetic for which Simpli Home is known. Available in classic styles and multiple sizes, the new line—offered in both recycled polyester-blend fabrics and top-grain aniline “kind” leathers—is set apart both by eco-friendly materials and durable construction.

In fact, Simpli Home sofas are hand-constructed using solid wood, corner-blocked frames and high-density foam and feather cushions for comfort and lasting good looks, along with high-resilience webbing for support and high-gauge sinuous springs to prevent sagging.

Affordability is a brand pillar for Simpli Home, and as such a key selling point in its upholstered offerings. The mid-century modern Livingston collection starts at $849 retail for an over-sized, 76-inch loveseat covered in a woven-blend fabric and is also available in a 90-inch sofa for $969 or $1,799 covered in genuine leather.

The Morrison, with a single bench cushion and two loose bolster pillows for a sleekly, modern silhouette upholstered in a woven-blend fabric, retails for $1,099 in an 89-inch sofa, or for $1,599 as a sectional with a full-length chaise lounge.

To help shoppers select colors and fabrics that are right for their room’s décor, the brand will send fabric swatches at no additional charge. Shipping is free, and products are delivered one week from order. All products come with a one-year warranty and easy return policy.

The sofas were launched in the D2C channel in August and were promoted vigorously to build the brand and consumer reviews. These assets are expected to bolster sales at retail as Simpli Home pushes further into the omnichannel sphere.

“We exceeded our early expectations with this offering. We think that the combined style, price, and delivery are what consumers want today. We look forward to bringing these new sofa designs into the brick-and-mortar retail channel where our dealers can benefit from the early steps, we took to promote the launch of the category,” said Darcy McGilvery, chief marketing officer of Simpli Home.

Indeed, the executive noted, the debut has been so successful that Simpli Home is already planning to add eight new sofas in four new styles to the collection in January. Among these, watch for a plush five-piece modular sofa, a deep seated seven-piece sectional and a sleek, off-the-floor sectional with a mid-century modern vibe.
