Spectra Home Hosts All-Star Panel with “Family-Friendly Luxury”

Is there room for “family-friendly” in the world of luxury? That is one of the questions that superstar panelists, Tamara Day, Thom Filicia, Breegan Jane, and Rachel Oni will take on when they discuss the merits of luxe design versus a laid-back lifestyle in Battle of the Styles: Luxe vs. Laid-back Luxe as part of the launch events scheduled for the new upholstery collection, Tamara Day by Spectra Home

Kicking off a day of celebration, the all-star panel is Oct. 14, 2-3pm in the Spectra Home showroom, 200 N Hamilton, #213.

Day, best known as the renovation guru on Magnolia Network’s Bargain Mansions, believes casual and luxury can co-exist. Raising a family of four active adolescents, Day embraces the philosophy of beautiful-and-durable.

Celebrated interior and product designer, author and television personality, Thom Filicia has often sided with the luxe camp for his self-named collections and product introductions.

Vibrant and vivacious, Breegan Jane, a well-known TV host, interior designer, entrepreneur, and philanthropist shares her opinions and life through her wildly popular social media platform.

Rachel Oni, a sought-after designer in the Washington, DC area, understands the day-to-day demands of a clientele looking for an exceptional design aesthetic with long-lasting qualities. The designer, owner of Featured Spaces Décor, has been highlighted in numerous publications and tapped for showhouses thanks to her peerless taste and fearless style.

Following the lively discussion, market attendees are invited to a celebration party curated by Spectra Home and Tamara Day. They will also have the opportunity to write messages of hope and encouragement on fabric that will be turned into a Chair of Hope, a project to benefit Common Thread for The Cure Foundation.
