Spring Air Focuses on Hospitality at Boutique Design New York

Spring Air International will be focusing on developing its hospitality presence by making its first official debut at the Boutique Design New York (BDNY) hospitality trade show on Nov 12 to 13 at the Javitz Center.

The top 20 U.S. bedding manufacturer will be displaying two mattresses from its National Line hospitality collection, as well as a Spring Air Chattam & Wells hospitality mattress.

In an effort to further step into the hospitality industry as hotel stays are increasing post-pandemic, Spring Air International President Nick Bates has been working diligently to put together a strong team of well-seasoned hospitality sales representatives to push the company’s advances in the sector.

“We have officially hired five sales organization’s from across the country to get the word out to large hotel brands, boutique hotel chains and properties that Spring Air has re-entered the hospitality market. The goal here really is to break into the hospitality segment with well-seasoned reps,” he said.

From its National Line hospitality collection, made of nine models in various comfort levels, Spring Air has chosen to debut its Avondale and West Haven mattresses.

The Avondale series – available in firm or plush, is a 12-inch mattress that features Leggett & Platt’s VertiCoil® design with Active Support Technology® that responds to a sleeper’s natural body movements during the night to allow muscles to relax in a more natural sleep position. The mattress also incorporates various high density gel foams and a foam edge support perimeter.

The West Haven mattress also features Leggett and Platt’s individually encased Quantum Edge® Coils and Enhanced profile with Eco-Base™. The model features various pre-compressed high density gel foams – including a super soft lumbar gel meant to provide an unparalleled conforming comfort for sleepers. The mattress series is available in plush, pillow-top, and euro-top and have a profile of 12-, 14-, and 15-inches, respectively.

Spring Air has also chosen to display its Chattam & Wells hospitality bed. To ensure superior durability as well as a luxurious feel, this mattress includes a perimeter foam encasement, two inches of high-density soft gel foam, and a layer of super soft gel foam for lumbar support.

Bates has chosen to bring the Chattam & Wells hospitality mattress, part of Spring Air’s most luxurious brand, to specifically target luxury hotels that are looking for a handcrafted luxury mattress for their property.

“We are looking forward to exhibiting at BDNY for the first time. We anticipate hoteliers will be looking for reputable mattress manufacturers who are able to provide them with the best night’s sleep for their guests. With our extensive licensee network that provides Spring Air with national coverage, we are able to service any property at any location with a delivery time that would exceed that of our competitors. We look forward to showing prospective clients what we have to offer,” Bates added.

Spring Air International will be displaying the mattresses for the first time at Booth 2840 at the Javitz Center.
