McKinnon and Harris Launch Collection Embracing La Dolce Vita

Embracing La Dolce Vita and the Mediterranean region, the Thirza Collection is a culmination of inspiration from numerous family trips taken by co-founder, Will Massie, and honors the Italian way of living - one that reveres history, art, craftsmanship, and family - as well as attention to detail.  

Sphere-shaped finials call back to the Medici Coat of Arms and Will’s own collection of carved marble, limestone and ceramic spheres from across the world. The apron and frame of the dining chairs are reminiscent of ancient Etruscan thrones and chariots. Undulating spindles call back to Giacometti’s humanistic forms and mid-century modern influences can be found in the tufted cushions.

Named for two influential women in the primary designer’s family, Thirza represents artists and craftspeople themselves who inspired a passion for design and handcraft, which comes across beautifully and evidently in this new collection.  

The Thirza Collection is available in and suits any of their 21 finish colors, from Classic White to Montebello Green. Seat cushions can also be customized with playful details, such as tufts and flanged edges, in any of McKinnon and Harris' durable outdoor fabrics.
