214 Modern Vintage Marks 10th Anniversary at High Point Fall Market

Interior design resource 214 Modern Vintage marks its 10-year anniversary at High Point Market this fall with a celebratory Champagne breakfast in the company’s showroom located at 314 W. Russell Ave., on Oct. 11, from 9 - 11 am.

The freestanding showroom opens three days prior to Fall Market’s official opening day, featuring antiques, vintage and one-of-a-kind furnishings from a cohort of collectors and vendors selling to buyers on a first-come, first-served basis.

In 2013, 214 Modern Vintage was only the second venue of its kind in High Point, according to founder Stephanie Schofield, who says the original location on Kivett Drive quickly became a destination for market goers in the know. The showroom relocated to its current address in the Market District known as Russell & Green in 2018.

“Our industry’s top-tier designers are continuously on the hunt for special items to distinguish their client projects,” says Schofield. “We’re especially grateful to these adventurous talents for seeking us out and establishing 214 Modern Vintage as a first-stop High Point Market destination over the last decade.”

The milestone anniversary coincides with the first-ever Vintage Vibes event promoting the unique products category at Market, which is supported by the High Point Market Authority (HPMA) with a printed map of participating showrooms and ground transportation to each location on Friday, Oct. 13, from 3 to 6 pm.

Market visitors to 214 Modern Vintage may take the Green Line bus shuttle to Stop 12. Parking is also available. For more information write to hello@214modernvintage.com
