Gold Bond Introduces Camelot Mattress Collection

Leading independent mattress manufacturer, Gold Bond, has introduced the Camelot mattress collection, that offers an upgraded design and new cooling technology that even King Arthur in the fictional story would find appealing.

The core of the Camelot mattress is the Leggett & Platt 1057 Bolsa spring system featuring the Quantum Edge Elite perimeter, which provides superior edge-to-edge steel support and is used in all of Gold Bond’s premium mattresses.

But it is the premium Aurora foam, a highly resilient polymer foam that offers four times more airflow than typical mattress foams due to its open-cell technology, that sets the mattress apart according to Bob Naboicheck, chief executive officer of Gold Bond.

“This is by far one of the most comfortable mattresses we have ever introduced,” said Naboicheck. “Gold Bond has long been known for very durable mattresses. With that being said, many of our products have a slighter firmer feel, while the Camelot products are just the opposite.”

“They are extremely luxurious and soft. Combining one of the industry’s best innersprings, Aurora foam and a gorgeous fabric, Camelot is selling on every Gold Bond retailer floor.”

Like all of the brand’s premium mattresses, Camelot is a two-sided product. The mattress design is unique in its fashionable outside ticking. A dark colored border and gorgeous heathered grey cover with white highlights, coupled with an extremely plush hand allows the mattress to stand out on the floor and adds a big impact to the visual presentation.

CEO Bob Naboicheck said he is pleased with the reception of the mattress among dealers. “We have gotten great feedback from our retailers. At first glance, consumers are drawn to the unique look of the mattress. But then they lie on it and experience the Aurora foam which is cool and comfortable thanks to the exceptional airflow. Together both elements help sell the mattress,” he said.

The Camelot retails for $1,599 for a queen and falls right in between the company’s Buckingham and Venice mattresses. It is available in firm, plush, and pillow-top models.
