ISFD Pinnacle Awards for 2023 Deadline Extended to August 3

Are you planning on entering the 2023 Pinnacle Awards? The International Society of Furniture Designers (ISFD) announced they have extended the 2023 Pinnacle Awards entry deadline to August 3. To be considered for the industry’s highest design honor, product designers, manufacturers or students must enter the 2023 Pinnacle Awards on the ISFD website.

Winners will be announced during the High Point Market, the industry’s highest profile show, at the Pinnacle Awards Gala on Monday, October 16 in the Loft at Condon Yards. Tickets will go on sale August 1.

“July is always a busy month with the Atlanta and Las Vegas Markets keeping many manufacturers and designers extremely busy,” said David Blair, ISFD executive director.

“We have had requests from several companies for a deadline extension because they are experiencing delays in getting their photography work done for their entries or that they needed more time to finish up their submissions.”

The Pinnacle Awards are open to all furniture and textile designers, manufacturers and students who were directly involved in designing home furnishings, décor, or textile products available for retail sale in the last year.

They celebrate designs that are produced mostly in larger numbers for sale to consumers. The recipient of the highly coveted Pinnacle Award is the designer or designers who were directly involved in the "design craft" of the products(s).

The 24 Pinnacle Awards entry categories include:

Accessories
Entertainment furniture
Floor coverings and rugs
Home office
Home textiles, woven and print
Lighting
Major collections
Maker/designer
Motion upholstery
Occasional storage
Outdoor
Wall décor
Youth

The following categories will recognize products in both the luxury and broad appeal sectors:

Bedroom
Dining
Leather upholstery
Occasional tables
Stationary upholstery

The Green Leaf Award will honor the best in sustainable furnishings design. The John Conrad Student Pinnacle Awards will recognize emerging designers from colleges and universities across the country.

ISFD would like to thank the 2023 Pinnacle Awards sponsors: Platinum Sponsor: International Market Centers, Silver Sponsor: High Point Market Authority, Bronze Sponsors: Continental Hardware, Furniture Design Studios, Leggett & Platt and Sherwin-Williams along with partners Elements Studios, and Furniture Today. Also, thanks to the International Textile Alliance (ITA) for their continued support.

Submission details can be found at 2023 Pinnacle Awards. To see last year’s winners please visit 2022 ISFD Pinnacle Award Winners.  The new entry deadline is Aug. 3, 2023.
