HP Market Authority Names Center Stage Headliner for Fall Market

Comprised of four musicians and longtime friends, the popular Canadian band is known for its upbeat musical stylings and playful, original lyrics, producing hit singles like “If I had $1000000” and “Pinch Me.” Fans will also recognize the musical theme composed and performed by Barenaked Ladies for a favorite TV sitcom, “The Big Bang Theory.”

Earning multiple Grammy nominations over the course of their career, including for "One Week," which debuted in the number three position in the U.S. before earning the top spot on The Billboard Hot 100 only two weeks later, this chart topper was additionally nominated for an MTV Video Music Award in 1999.

Barenaked Ladies has sustained its appeal to audiences with wit, humor and charm for over three decades. The group just wrapped a 7-week North American tour. Their latest singles “Lovin’ Life” and “Too Old” are from their forthcoming album scheduled for later this year.

The evening concert is open to registered High Point Market attendees. A valid Fall 23 Market pass is required for entry. Doors open at 6:30pm with the concert beginning at 7pm. Early entry for buyers starts at 6:15pm. No one under the age of 15 will be allowed entry. Complimentary food and beverage will be provided.

Center Stage is an outdoor event venue situated between Showplace and the Transportation Terminal.
