STRIKE by Chad Dorsey Sponsors Annual Nantucket by Design

In the spirit of supporting the heirloom craftsmanship that is implicit in contemporary design, STRIKE by Chad Dorsey is pleased to sponsor the annual Nantucket by Design, the annual summertime fundraiser for the Nantucket Historical Association, held August 2-5.
Designed and engineered by the Chad Dorsey Design studio, STRIKE is a collection of bespoke mantels in unexpected sculptural proportions that create a compelling focal point for any living space. The collection currently includes seven original designs with custom stone finishes: Big Sur, Calistoga, Laguna, Malibu, Ojai, Sausalito, and Sea Ranch.
The support of the Nantucket fundraiser coincides with the reveal of three new fireplaces this summer: the Fitting, Hinge, and Plinth, introduced in smaller scale with designs that emphasize the interlocking and connecting of different materials and finishes.
Chad Dorsey Design will introduce its new line of STRIKE Bath, a line of sculptural stone sinks in luxurious, hand-honed stone surfaces designed to draw viewers in with subtle details that reveal a little more of their bespoke elements each time you see them.
“We’re honored to support Nantucket by Design and Nantucket Heritage Society,” enthused STRIKE’s director of sales Chris Richardson. “We couldn’t think of a better-timed opportunity to introduce the brand to design aficionados supporting the ideology of legacy.”
Now in its eighth year, Nantucket by Design celebrates the island’s legacy of influencing American design by delivering an exclusive experience for the cultural and design savvy while raising money for the Nantucket Historical Association (NHA) to continue its commitment to steward and preserve the heritage of Nantucket.
Centering around this theme, “Legacy,” curated keynote and panel discussions, master classes, cocktail parties, and more will be held at locations throughout Nantucket.
It’s because of this passion for bespoke artisanry that STRIKE Founder Dorsey will be speaking about the role of contemporary design in maintaining an artistic legacy.
