ANDMORE Plans to Host Buying Groups at Summer Markets

ANDMORE is hosting more than 20 buying groups and associations for education, networking and sourcing this summer at its Atlanta Market (July 11-17 at AmericasMart Atlanta) and Las Vegas Market (July 30-August 3 at World Market Center Las Vegas).

These onsite gatherings of member-based organizations offer a unique opportunity for organization leaders to network, to discuss member marketing and growth opportunities and to gain key insights from Market organizers.

“Buying groups and industry associations are an integral part of both the Atlanta Market and Las Vegas Market buyer base,” said Karen Olson, ANDMORE executive vice president and chief revenue officer.

“We are excited not only to expand our programming with organizations and events that are new to our campuses but also to welcome back our longtime industry partners.”

Organizations look to Atlanta Market and Las Vegas Market as ideal opportunities for hosting meetings, special events, seminars and networking spaces, with numerous new and returning gatherings taking place in Summer 2023.

Four group events are new to the Atlanta Market this summer: the Christian Retail Association (CRA) lunch member meeting; Furniture Marketing Group (FMG) breakfast; Souvenirs, Gift & Novelties Magazine Roundtable; and Specialty Wholesale Talent Association networking breakfast.

Atlanta Market also welcomes the return of 10 industry partners: American Specialty Toy Retailing Association (ASTRA) hospitality lounge; the Association of Golf Merchandisers (AGM) buyer networking breakfast (returning after a hiatus); Brixy hospitality lounge; GC Buying Group – GCX: Connect; Georgia Grown product pavilion; Greeting Card Association (GCA) – *Noted at Atlanta Market Village; Housewares Training & Information Group (HTI) vendor forum; MAI Retailers (MAI) vendor forum, banquet and hospitality lounge; Museum Store Association (MSA) national board meeting and The Gallery Collection temporary exhibit category; and Southwest Buying Group (SWBG) member meeting.

Additionally, the International Casual Furnishings Association (ICFA) brings three first-ever member events to Atlanta Market, as part of the launch of Casual Market Atlanta this summer: The ICFA 65th Birthday Bash, ICFA Awards Gala and the ICFA Annual Meeting. Additionally, an ICFA-sponsored Pink Out Atlanta invites all market participants to wear pink for breast cancer awareness and in support of City of Hope.

Las Vegas Market welcomes the return of four industry partners and a new pre-market educational conference.

Four industry partners returning to Las Vegas Market this summer are American Specialty Toy Retailing Association (ASTRA) hospitality lounge; Real Deals member meeting lounge; Spa Industry Association (SIA) key account retail tour; and The Good Toy Group (TGTG) meeting lounge (returning after a hiatus).

In addition to member-only events with industry partners, ANDMORE is hosting numerous association-connected activities open to all buyers at Las Vegas Market, including the ANDYZ Awards with American Society of Interior Designers (ASID); ASID tours and education; Home Furnishings Association (HFA) seminars; Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) tour and education; and Sip & Shop with Industry Partners: Museum Store Association (MSA), Real Deals, SIA and TGTG in the Expo at World Market Center Las Vegas, home of the Gift & Home Temporaries.

In partnership with Furniture Today, Las Vegas Market also will host the 2nd annual Innovation Event, a one-day, action-packed, pre-market conference bringing together industry thought leaders, influential designers and forward-thinking manufacturers to discuss the future of the home category.

Subject matter includes AI, robots and machinery that revolutionize business strategies and streamline production; consumer trends that capture discretionary income; evolving legislation, sustainability and production methods that impact the market and consumers.  For information and registration, visit www.theinnovationevent.com.
