Hooker Furnishings Makes Its Atlanta Market Debut in July

Underscoring its ongoing commitment to expanding visibility and market share of its brands, Hooker Furnishings will make its Atlanta Market debut this July in a 6,500-square-foot showroom in AmericasMart.

Located on the first floor of Building 1, the showroom will be open year-round and is designed to provide its partners with convenient access to its broad assortment of products and brands throughout the year.

“This strategic move demonstrates our commitment to expanding our market share by increasing brand visibility and meeting both new and prospective clients where they prefer to shop,” said Johne Albanese, chief marketing officer of Hooker Furnishings.

“Our permanent, year-round space within AmericasMart allows us to showcase a variety of our HF portfolio brands, connect with new and existing retailers, and contribute to our continued growth of the essential interior design channel.”

Featuring a curated selection of products from the company’s eight consumer-facing brands, the Atlanta showroom will be presented with a boutique design approach that merchandises all of the brands together, rather than segmented by brand.

Featuring some of the company’s newest case goods, modern leather seating and custom, domestic fabric upholstery, brands represented within the space include Hooker Case Goods, Hooker Upholstery, HF Custom, Bradington-Young, M, Sunset West, Pulaski Furniture, and SLF.

“We’ve intentionally designed the space to emphasize our diverse range of products and how pieces from our many different brands can work together,” Albanese added. “Adding to this, we will also feature products from our two contract-focused brands, SLH and H Contract, to cater to the Atlanta Market's broad range of contract architecture and design firms.”

The space will be managed by Rebekah Bowen who previously oversaw showroom operations and interior design at Pasha Furniture and Abbey Hall Interiors, in addition to several years of retail store management.

In this new role, Bowen will maintain showroom operations while acting as brand ambassador and subject matter expert of the Atlanta design and trade showroom community. She will also be responsible for hosting special events in the showroom.

To celebrate the grand opening of the new space, the company will host a ribbon cutting ceremony on July 11 at 11 a.m. as well as a daily happy hour Tuesday July 11 through Sunday, July 16 beginning at 3 p.m. Dubbed, “Feeling Peachy? The Daily Fuzz,” customers are encouraged to stop by at their leisure for a designer-inspired happy hour where conversation, community and creativity collide.
