IKEA Introduces Pop-Up for Kitchen Planning at Cherry Hill Mall

IKEA South Philadelphia will become more accessible to customers in South Jersey through its new kitchen planning pop-up shopping experience at Cherry Hill Mall in Cherry Hill, NJ.
The new pop-up shop will provide customers with the ability to design, order and pay for the new kitchen of their dreams in one convenient visit.
“We are excited to launch the first-ever IKEA Kitchen Planning Pop-up at the Cherry Hill Mall,” said Michael Hill, IKEA South Philadelphia customer experience manager. “This is a great opportunity for us to reach and better serve our South Jersey customers.”
“It also gives us a unique opportunity to inspire our customers in an innovative way while also helping to increase their awareness of IKEA home furnishing solutions and services available at IKEA South Philadelphia or online at IKEA.com.”
Customers who visit the new IKEA Kitchen Planning Pop-up Shop will get ideas and inspiration from the IKEA designed kitchen display. IKEA Kitchen Planning Specialists will help customers create the kitchens of their dreams.
At the end of each planning session, customers will have the ability to order and pay for their custom kitchen on-site through a mobile payment link that can be sent to a smartphone or email address.
The IKEA Kitchen Planning Pop-up Shop will be open to all mall visitors for six months, until September 30. The hours of operation are Monday through Saturday from 10:30 am - 7:30 pm and 11 am - 6 pm on Sunday. This is a first-of-its kind pop-up shopping experience as IKEA focuses on creating more touch points for new and existing customers while building on the company’s vision to create a better everyday life for the many.
IKEA has plans to activate more kitchen planning pop-ups in other markets across the U.S. in the near future.
