At Home Announces Jeff Evans as President and CMO

At Home, The Home and Holiday Superstore, announced today it has appointed retail industry veteran Jeff Evans as President and Chief Merchandising Officer. Mr. Evans will assume the position on June 19.

“His experience leading at the highest-ranked Fortune 100 company will bring a new level of excellence to our business. He is a collaborative leader that has delivered consistent results by building high performing teams, being customer and data focused and driving digital transformation.”

Mr. Evans is a senior merchandising leader that brings 32 years of knowledge in managing businesses across different retail formats including department stores, warehouse clubs and mass retailers.

He has deep experience in ecommerce, building brands, product development, sourcing and identifying business opportunities.

“At Home is uniquely situated to continue to grow by delivering incredible customer value in the home décor space,” said Mr. Evans.

“I am very excited to join Lee and the At Home team to help drive the business strategy and participate in fueling future growth by identifying and maximizing opportunities to deliver results.”

Prior to joining At Home, Mr. Evans was Executive Vice President, Entertainment, Toys and Seasonal for Walmart US, where he managed the company’s largest omnichannel general merchandise business in excess of $37B.

He served in leadership roles at Walmart US and Sam’s Club for 15 years in general merchandising, omnichannel, home and apparel divisions. Under his leadership, the Walmart US home business generated $22B.

Mr. Evans began his career at Filene’s in Boston, a division of May Department Stores, and spent 16 years merchandising different categories in apparel.

He holds a degree in finance from Ithaca College.
