TURF Signs Lease at THE MART in Chicago for Experience Center

Acoustics company Turf has signed a long-term lease for new space at THE MART in Chicago to serve as an office and flagship experience center beginning in spring 2024.

Turf will remain on THE MART’s tenth floor, moving down the hall to an 18,682 SF corner space at Suite 1048. The move comes following a time of exponential growth for Turf, with a more than 70% growth in 2022. 

The space at THE MART will act as a complement to Turf’s also expanding Gilberts, Ill. headquarters and production facility, deepening its Chicago roots. With this expansion, Turf cements its position as a top creative force in the commercial design world and as the leader in innovative acoustic solutions. 

“We’re excited to continue our successful partnership with THE MART in this new space,” explains Turf President Rob Perri. “We look forward to creating a design office and showroom experience so clients can see the power of Turf’s creativity from sketch to build.”

Turf opened its first MART experience center in June 2022 to demonstrate the impressive custom capabilities, colors, and performance of its product line.

The new space, at more than triple the size of its first and with research and design by Chicago-based geniant and Eastlake Studio, will be infused with a similar interactive approach.

The company’s sales, account management, project management, design, and engineering teams will all work out of THE MART upon the space’s opening.
